"The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened."
John F. Kennedy, 35th U.S. President
What good is a "right" if it isn't enforced?
Everybody knows about the United Nations (UN) and such documents as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
However, UN human rights documents do not automatically become law anywhere. Declarations (like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights) are political or moral statements of intent, not legally binding treaties.
